Mrs. Mildred Ozment's Obituary
Mildred Dean (Lening) Ozment went to live with her Heavenly Father on 6/14/2019 from her home in Joelton, TN; at the age of 91.
She was preceded in death by her first husband- Harry Lening and her second husband- Charles Ozment. Her parents Vernon Sr. and Irene Dean.
One brother, Vernon Jr. (Elinor) Dean. Four sisters, Elizabeth (John) Hargis, Anna (Delbert) Word, Marjorie (James) Fleming, and Dottie Dean. Also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Lee Lening.
Mildred was born in Old Hickory, TN and moved to Madison, TN at six years old, where she attended school at Stratton Elementary and graduated eighth grade there. She went to work at the Five and Ten Cent Store downtown Nashville, TN. While attending Isaac Litton High School where she graduated and then went to work at the Dupont Plant in Old Hickory, TN., until she married. She retired from Donelson Hospital. Her first husband died from lung cancer and afterwards Ms. Ozment married her second husband.
Ms. Ozment is survived by two sons- Harry W. Lening and Michael
(Debbie) Lenning; four daughters- Barbara Pearce, Dottie Bass, Anita (Ray) Austin and Annette (Buster) Tidwell and one special niece, Tammy Ozment.
In 1998 Ms. Ozment moved in with her son, Michael Lening and raised his two children, Michael J. Lening; U.S.M.C. and Brooke Lening.
She has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. 3 Special friends- Martha McCoy (Mott), Linda Brown and Kenneth Nichols.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 12 noon from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Walsh officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 1 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home with an additional visitation on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 10 am until 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include; Doug, Kenny, Michael, Mikey, Ze'Veyon and Keonte.
