Mrs. Mildred Roberts' Obituary
Mildred Roberts, age 95 of Madison, passed away May 3, 2013. Mrs. Roberts was born March 23, 1918 to James B., Sr. and Lillian Adams.
She graduated from East Nashville High School and Nashville Business College. She was employed by the Baptist Board and later at Methodist Publishing House. She did volunteer work for the Christian Cooperative Ministry for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Ann Scott; brother, James B. Adams, Jr. and husbands, William T. Scott and Paul A. Roberts. She is survived by her son William G. (Linda) Scott of Panama City, FL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Robert’s life will be conducted at 12 P.M., Tuesday, May 6, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Andre Dugger officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M., Sunday, May 5, and from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday, May 7 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
