Mildred Elizabeth "Liddy" Tosh's Obituary
Elizabeth “Liddy” Tosh died at home on January 24,2017of natural causes at the age of 90.
Liddy is survived by her sons, Ronald Howard Tosh and John Gayland Tosh (Rebecca). Grandchildren, Ronald Howard Tosh Jr., Gregory Scott Tosh (Jessy), and Jessica Elizabeth Hardin (William). She is survived by one great grandchild Ainsley Elizabeth Hardin. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, John H. Tosh. Siblings, Eva Taymon Cotten and Jesse Edward Taymon Jr., daughter Rebecca Lynn Tosh and grandson John Michael Tosh.
Liddy was born on March 29th, 1926 in Nashville, TN to Jesse Edward Taymon and Lena Bailey Taymon. She graduated from North High School in 1944.
She had been employed by Washington Manufacturing Company and also the state of Tennessee but primarily focused on raising her children and assisting with the grandchildren. She was a talented artist doing ceramics and sewing until her vision failed her.
She was a member at the Rivergate Church of Christ
A funeral is scheduled for Monday January 30, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be Sunday January 29, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and one hour before services Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Sellers Crain will officiate the ceremony.
Family will serve as pall bearers.
