Mr. Milton "Raymond" Harmon's Obituary
Mr. Milton “Raymond” Harmon, age 79 of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was born on December 4, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Wilton Herrin and Ida Frances Harmon. He was preceded in death by his parents .He is survived by his loving wife of over 46 years, Margaret Boyd Harmon, his children Michelle Wilkinson (Ted), Roy Harmon (Joy), Ray Harmon, Connie Felts (Jerry), and Tammy Johnson, his brothers Joe Carney (Becky) and Dale Carney (Libby), his brother-in-law Danny Boyd, his grandchildren Seth Wilkinson, Sarah Harmon, Lela Harmon, Kaleb Harmon, Heather Maurer, Christy Acosta, Matthew Johnson, Diane Patterson, Denise Ridgeway, and Wendy Biggs. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, his CB Radio Friends Dave, Otis, and Larry.
Raymond was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was a hard worker, and always made sure his family was taken care of. He was a natural caregiver, and enjoyed spending time caring for his grandchildren and brother-in-law, Danny. He had a very giving and kind spirit, always doing what he could to help those who needed it. Over the years, he and Margaret opened their home to over twenty foster children to help them get on their feet. Raymond loved talking on the CB Radio, flying planes, and spending time with his three chihuahuas. He also had a good sense of humor, and you always knew that Raymond liked you if he picked on you.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
