Miranda Gayl Merkle's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Miranda Gayl Merkle
July 25th, 1975 – April 23rd, 2026
We celebrate the colorful life of Miranda Merkle, our favorite Nashville native, whose big, beautiful personality shines as bright as the sun, even now. Loving, loud, and loyal, she made every moment feel like your new favorite memory.
Miranda found joy in antique shopping and estate sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures. She loved painting her nails, finding a reason to have a party, and showing her thoughtfulness through gift giving. She always knew when a beach trip was needed and the smile that closed her eyes when she hunted shells is an image that will never leave the ones she loved.
Family meant everything to Miranda. She is fiercely loved by her parents and best friends, Charles Lee Merkle and Veronica Jean Merkle, her brother, Chris (Karen), her proud daughters, Krista Alexandra (Donovan), Hazely Cebella, and Emma Corinne, her granddaughters, Rowan and Iris, her aunt, “Sissy”, and her Uncle Ronnie. She was beloved by the family she helped to create through Grayson Kent, with Jon and Michelle. She was quite literally the best daughter, niece, sister, mom, and Jaja we could have ever asked for or imagined.
Miranda is unforgettable. Today and always, we celebrate a bright life and a bold love.
