Moreau "Reau" P. Estes, V.'s Obituary
Reau passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on October 20th, 2023, in his home in St. Augustine, Florida.
He was born on September 10th, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, where he spent his formative years. He was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity while pursuing his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in American History at the University of Cincinnati. Later, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Wharton Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Reau was also deeply engrossed in ancestry and heritage and could often be found proudly representing Clan MacLeod at the annual Scottish Highland Games. He was a man of honor and integrity and true southern gentleman to his core. His unwavering character and dedication to his family and friends left an indelible mark on their lives. He will be forever missed, and his memory will be a source of inspiration for many.
Reau is survived by his beloved son, T. Ewell Estes, two cherished grandchildren, his brother Robert, and his sister Victoria.
A viewing will be held on the morning of Saturday, November 4th, at Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine, FL. Visitation hours will be between 10am and 2pm. Reau will later be laid to rest with his family in Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity XI Chapter in Cincinnati, Ohio, or to the Montgomery Bell Academy High School in Nashville, Tennessee, institutions that held special meaning to Reau during his lifetime.
