Morris W. Slate's Obituary
SLATE, Morris W. age 92 of Hendersonville passed away May 22, 2011. He was a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ and was a WWII Veteran. Survived by wife of 60 years, Hazel Slate, two sons Paul (Teresa) Slate and Steve (Gail) Slate, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and brother Chester Slate. Funeral services will be conducted at Springhill Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1PM with Norman Slate officiating. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Memorial Contributions can be made to World Christian Broadcasting. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday May 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Springhill Funeral Home. Interment at Spring Hill Cemetery.
