Mrs. Morrisa Morris' Obituary
Morrisa Ann (Langford) Morris, age 78, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 in Cordova, Tennessee. Morrisa was born on December 28, 1939 in Putnam County, Tennessee to Roy Clayton and Jewel (Parker) Langford.
Morrisa enjoyed traveling, spending her spare time at the casino and fishing. She always worked hard to make sure that her family was taken care of. She thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings where she could cook for them. She cherished greatly the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, James Edward Morris; daughters, Corinna Dozier and Sherry Morris; granddaughter, Melissa Grant.
Morrisa is survived by son, James (Mary) Morris; daughter, Debra Teaney; brother, Thurman Langford; Sister Carolyn Gammon; grandchildren, James Grant, Willie Dozier and Jeremy Morris. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 9AM-12 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a celebration of life service beginning at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
