Mr. James E. Stewart's Obituary
James E. Stewart age 66, of Hendersonville, TN went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda G. Stewart; grandson, Spencer R. Elliott; and sister, Vickey Dill. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cynthia Elliott; mother, Corrine Stewart; father, Tom Stewart; brothers, Dale and Donald Stewart; and sister, Linda Pewett. He was a journeyman plumber for 46 years, a deacon of Center Point Baptist Church, a Past Master of Hendersonville Lodge No. 359 F&AM, a member of Hendersonville No. 477 OES, and a Parade Marshal of the Al Menah Shrine. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, Madison, TN from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 5, 2014 at Center Point Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Trotter officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11;00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, TN. Pallbearers will be Paul Pike, Jerry Stewart, Gary Conger, Donny Vaughn, Bobby Walker, Sam Dixon, Gerald McCormick and Fred Staton. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Fryer, Terry Crunk, Hendersonville Lodge NO. 359 F&AM, Hendersonville No. 477 OES, and Men’s Sunday School Class of Center Point Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Center Point Baptist Church.
