Mrs. Nancy Piper Chandler's Obituary
Ms. Nancy Piper Chandler, age 89 of East Ridge, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was born on April 11, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Arthur and Lurlie Piper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Chandler, her son Steven Clay Smiley, her brother Bobbie H. Piper, and her granddaughter Victoria Morrisette. She is survived by her grandchildren Lee Morrisette, Michael Smiley, Steven Smiley, Timothy Smiley and great-grandchildren James, Thomas, Alexander, Samantha, Elizabeth, and Andrew. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren Aria, Kairi, Gwendolyn, Alexandra, Woodlee, and Riley Grace.
Nancy was a spectacular person, who left an impression on all who knew her. She was spunky, feisty, vibrant, and independent. She loved traveling, and she spent time all over the world even lived in South Africa for some time! Nancy and her husband Bob spent most of their lives in the hotel business, but she also ran an antique store in Franklin for many years.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 9am-11am at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service beginning at 11am in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
