Nancy R. Denton's Obituary
Nancy R. Denton, 80, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Clarence Gulley and a sister, Peggy Kelley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, George “Ron” Denton, two children, April Y. Allen (Frank), and Robyn C. Bulger (Brian), two grandchildren, Titus Bulger and Audie Allen, and three siblings, Ray Gulley, Joyce Vaughn (Tommy), Steve Gulley (Joni).
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and prayer warrior. Her life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and her selfless love for others. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched everyone she encountered.
She shared an unbreakable bond with her husband, Ron. They were inseparable, their love enduring through every season of life. Together, they supported each other’s ministries and weathered life’s ups and downs with grace and resilience.
Nancy’s heart overflowed with love for her children. Her daughters were her life—she reveled in their joys, wiped away their tears, and celebrated their achievements. But it was her grandsons who truly stole her heart.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit and share stories on Monday, April 1, 2024, from six o’clock in the evening until the time of the funeral service at seven o’clock in the evening at First Apostolic Church, 265 Broadmoor Drive in Nashville. Pastor Jonathan Denton will officiate the service with Pastor Dee Jay Shoulders. The graveside service will be the following day, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at eleven o’clock in the morning at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. Everyone will meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home at ten forty-five in the morning and process to the grave together.
