Mrs. Nancy Gunderson McFadden's Obituary
Nancy Gunderson McFadden, aged 68, passed away March 28, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. Nancy was born in Chicago on September 5, 1951, the daughter of Roy Edgar Gunderson and Shirley Iona (Britton) Gunderson, and sister of June Elizabeth Gunderson, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jack McFadden, daughter Sara Elizabeth McFadden and her husband Jonathan Auld, son Charles Russell McFadden and his partner Annamarie Bernard, and grandchildren Anna Charlotte McFadden Auld and Alexander Callum McFadden Auld.
Nancy was a person of deep spiritual convictions, kind and straightforward; a special education teacher and an ardent advocate for environmental and social justice. She was a true servant of humanity who worked to make the world a better place for her children, grandchildren, and all people.
Nancy was interred April 2, 2020 at Larkspur Conservancy after a small private ceremony. Family and friends are planning a public Celebration of Life for a future date.
