Mrs. Nancy Walker Menees' Obituary
Nancy Walker Menees of Madison, TN passed away on August 5, 2021, in Davidson County. She is preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Dr. John William Menees Jr; parents, David Emmett Walker and Bertie Pauline Bracy Walker; sister, Roberta Ellis; and brother, Charles Walker.
She is survived by her son, Fr. Mark William (Jo) Menees; daughters, Janet Lassiter, Kelly Menees; sister, June Jordan; brother, Emmett (Jean) Walker; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Menees, Beth Clements, Paul (Elizabeth) Lassiter, Dr. Jonathan (Michelle) Lassiter, Heather (Isaac) Rich, Laughren (Kyle) Duckworth; and 6 great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Samantha, Kye, Wyatt, George, Calvin.
Nancy was born in Nashville, TN and grew up in the surrounding areas. She loved flowers, traveling, and The Braves. Nancy had a love for animals but most especially her dogs. She was a great cook with a zealous sweet tooth, cookies of all kinds. Nancy was a devoted member of Arlington United Methodist Church. She was strong in her faith and touched the lives of everyone she knew, she will truly be missed.
