Mr. Nathan David Armstrong's Obituary
Mr. Nathan David Armstrong, 54, formerly of Portland and a resident of Nashville, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital.
The Robertson County, Tennessee native was the son of Nathan C. and Sally Nipper Armstrong. He was a long-time truck driver, having driven for Taylor Farms for many years. He was a cowboy, enjoyed the outdoors, horses, pleasure riding and traveling the the Great Smoky Mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Harwell Armstrong; three sons, Matthew (Lacey) Armstrong, Eric (Anna) Hollingsworth and Chris (Michelle) Hollingsworth; two sisters, Sherry Mori and Donna Payne; a brother, Steven (Monte) Armstrong; three grandchildren, Matthew and Audrey Morrow, Emma Hollingsworth and a grandchild on the way; many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Monday, October 13, 2014 from 2:00 until 8:00PM and on Tuesday from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
