Mr. Nelson Riddle's Obituary
Mr. Nelson Riddle, age 85 of Madison, TN passed away December 13, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1938 in Red Boiling Springs, TN to the late Roger and Mae Rice Riddle Hudson. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 53 years, Virginia Fern Riddle; daughters Debra Lynn Riddle and Sherry Riddle O’Neil; sons Randy Riddle and Bradley Riddle; granddaughter Brittany Riddle; sister Mildred, step-father Seldon Hudson, and aunt Emma Dean Adams. He is survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and sister Mary Holleman.
Nelson proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, all types of auto racing, never met a stranger and was an overall great person. He had a lot of charm and always had a quick wit. He loved to negotiate and get a good deal. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon .
