Mrs. Norma Jean Bush's Obituary
Norma Jean Bush, 90, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her home. Born March 14, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Omual Hutchison and Edith Viola Davis Hutchison.
Norma was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. Her family will remember her as a jokester who enjoyed reading and listening to all types of music. They’ll miss her talents in the kitchen, especially her biscuits, meatloaf, goulash and meatballs.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Bush, Jr. and five of her siblings.
She is survived by Steve (Linda) Hutchison, Gary (Kimberley) Bush, Michael (Susan) Bush, Meliah (Patrick) Bush-Miranda and Casey (Austin) Jent; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 24 from 11 am until 2 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
