Norman Corder Coke's Obituary
COKE, Norman Corder, age 92 of Nashville, TN passed away September 10, 2011. He was born in Clarksville, TN in 1919 to the late Newell Coke and Ivor Crawford. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Walton Coke and Charles Thomas Coke. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, R. Jane Coke; brothers, Cecil Coke and Rev. Harold Coke; step-sister, Minerva Harris; faithful and loving caregivers, Bande Sarra, Joy Vicinanza and Gabriel Vicinanza. Norman was a Methodist Minister for the Middle Tennessee and Memphis Conferences of the United Methodist Church. He most recently served as the Minister of Visitation for Dalewood United Methodist Church. He was passionate about photography, flowers and God. The funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at 2PM at Dalewood United Methodist Church with Lynn Hill and Bryan Rossburt officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday at Spring Hill funeral home from 4-6PM and on Wednesday at Dalewood UMC from Noon until service time at 2. Pallbearers will be, David Harris, Harold Sevey, Gene Skaggs, Larry Lawson and Preston Hill; Honorary Pallbearers are, Dr. Bill Petit, Hawkins and Martha Clark, Ed and Ann Clymer, Joyce Yates and Dr. Joe Frazer.
