Novetta Marie Lockhart Watkins, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. Born on September 15, 1932, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Rodney and Laverne Lockhart.
Novetta was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she found deep spiritual fulfillment and community throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Lionel B. Watkins, who passed away in 2016. Their enduring love was a testament to commitment and companionship, and she often spoke of him as the love of her life.
Novetta’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family and faith. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
