Mrs. Oleda M. Franklin's Obituary
Oleda Mae Franklin of Madison, TN passed away on November 9, 2020 in Davidson County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Samuel Griggs and Emma Mae Gobble; brother, Theadore Griggs; sisters, Lucille Qualls, and Sue Robbins . She is survived by her loving husband, Paulie Hardie Franklin, sisters Dean Robertson and Shirley Collins; children, Paul Franklin, Theresa Galbraith, and Brian Franklin; grandchildren Jeremy Galbraith, Darrell Franklin, Megan Retherford and Noah Franklin; great grandchildren, Connor Galbraith, Ashlyn Franklin, Kailey Franklin, Ruth Carlisle Retherford and River Retherford.
Oleda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and her family. She was the essential partner in the Franklin Steel Guitar Company. She put her heart and soul into all aspects of the company and was a beloved member of the steel guitar community. Anyone that knew her spoke of her kind and gentle spirit. Oleda touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 14th from 2-6 pm and Sunday from 1-2:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday November 15th at 2pm.
