Mrs. Opha Pearl Cripps Turner's Obituary
Opha Pearl Cripps Turner, age 88 of Madison, TN passed away on August 4, 2013. Mrs. Turner was born on May 16, 1925 in Dekalb County, TN.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved making a home for her family and was an excellent quilter. She was a long-standing member of Inglewood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years, James H. Turner. She is survived by her son, Rick Turner; daughter, Sandra (Ed) Simmons; grandchildren, Katie Turner, Rebecca Klindt, Ben, Dan and Walt Simmons; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan and Alex Klindt, Cline, Turner, Macy, Caleb, Colton, Parker and Madeline Simmons; two brothers, three sisters and other family and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Turner’s life will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 and from 10 A.M. until 10:45 A.M., Wednesday at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
