Ms. Ophelia Bramlett Simpson's Obituary
Ms. Ophelia Bramlett Simpson, age 90, of Waverly, TN passed away March 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 18, 1924 in Dickson, TN to the late William Edgar and Lily McCloud Bramlett.
Ms. Simpson was of the Pentecostal faith and spent much of her life as a caregiver. The family remembers her as a woman of great character that in her youth spent time traveling on trains.
She is survived by her sisters, Iva Massey and Edna McBride; nephews, Ronnie (Rowena) Johnson and Nathan (Debbie) Massey; and niece Kathy Orrick.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Brother David Royalty officiating. The family will receive guests Tuesday from 9 a.m. until funeral time. Entombment will follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
