Orval C. Meeks, III's Obituary
Mickey Meeks age 63, passed away September 10, 2012. Preceded in death by his father Orval C. Meeks, II and sister Vicki Meeks. Survived by his loving mother Jean Katherine Meeks, aunt Velma Jolley, cousins and a host of friends. Mickey served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a welder for Matlock for many years. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, football, golf, and playing pool. His favorite sporting team was Alabama. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012, 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 2:00-8:00 a.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m-1:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
