Mr. Osmin C. Cazanas' Obituary
Patria y Vida.
Osmin Cazañas Ceballos passed away peacefully on the morning of August 21, 2021 at the age of 83 in the city of Madison, Tennessee. Osmin was born October 17, 1937 in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to parents Juan Cazañas y Juana Ceballos making him the middle child of seven. Juan Carlos Cazañas, Aida Cazañas and Noemi Cazañas are his three current remaining siblings. It was in Cuba where he met his devoted wife, Migdalia Garcia, and continued to share 55 years of marriage together. From that love was born their two daughters, Dianelys Cazañas (eldest) and Anabel Pedrero (youngest). They did not get to have any sons, but he considered his son-in-laws, Ramon Estrada and Aroldo Pedrero, like they were his own. It was after having his first grandchild, Dianisleydis Norcisa, that he decided to bring his family to the United States as a political refugee on August 14, 1995 for a better life. It was here that his other three grandchildren had been born, Wendy Norcisa, Jonathan Pedrero and Jenny Pedrero. Osmin was also fortunate enough to have met his great-grandchildren before his passing, Ruby McWhorter, Hendrix Barton and Keila Estrada. If there was one thing Osmin loved and cherished above all was his family. He never met a stranger and got along with everyone he came across. He was a strong, intelligent man who will be remembered for his many jokes and stories as well as for always having a smile on his face. It would take a book to be able to properly describe and do justice to the person he was and the life he had. God received one more precious angel in his kingdom and his family has gained a beloved and cherished ancestor. Osmin Cazañas will be deeply missed and forever loved by all. May his spirit rest easy. Patria y Vida.
