Mr. Otto Werrbach Jr.'s Obituary
Otto W. Werrbach, Jr., age 94, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Otto was born on March 8, 1924 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Otto Werrbach, Sr. and Susie (Bernard) Werrbach.
Otto served his country in the Marines during the World War II conflict. He was retired from the Highway Patrol in Communications. He would meet regularly with some dear friends on early mornings to walk around the Rivergate mall. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus and was a lifetime member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church where he was in the music ministry. He served the hungry with the loaves and fishes program with the Holy Name Catholic Church. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Werrbach Mitchell.
Otto is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Marie (Brown) Werrbach; son, “Toby” Otto Werrbach, III (Peggie); daughter, Monica Aebersold (Mark); grandchildren, Alyse West and Michelle Pierce; great-grandson, Jackson Pierce. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 4 pm – 8 pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Aebersold, Jim Grant, Aaron West, Robert Petre, Bernie Werrbach and Tony Warner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Music Ministry.
