Pamela Gliga's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Ruth Gliga (Hahn) of Southfield Michigan.
Pamela passed away on September 15, 2023 leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom that will forever live on in our hearts.
Pamela Gliga, who was affectionately known as "Nana" to many who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was the beloved wife of Larry Gliga, she was a mother, a sister, a grandmother of 5, and a friend to all that knew her.
She could be counted on to help others at a moments notice. She loved camping and shopping and she overcame many challenges throughout her life.
Pam's final resting place will be in her beloved home state of Tennessee.
Pamela was born on July 27, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee to Catherine Jennette and Charles Hahn.
She had a heart of gold and a deep compassion for others. Caring for those in need was not just a choice for Pamela; it was a way of life. She had a unique ability to make everyone she met feel cherished and valued. Friends, family, and even strangers were welcomed with open arms into her home, where she provided comfort, support.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, Sons; James Anthony Ethridge, Charles Ernest Ethridge, Grand Daughter; Cathleen Jasmin Hahn (TIGGER) and a brother Calvin Gray.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Gliga, a daughter, Cathleen Michelle Gilbert and three siblings, William Dewesee (Tony) and his wife Elaine, Linda Gabrish (Joe) and Tina Mutshall (Helli),4 grandchildren,
While we mourn the loss of this extraordinary woman, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched. Pamela's memory will forever be etched in our hearts, her legacy of caring for others, and offering advice will continue to inspire us.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to gather and share stories on Tuesday, September 26th and Wednesday, September 27th from four o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 28th at two o’clock in the afternoon also at the funeral home. The family will visit two hours prior to the service. The rite of committal will immediately follow the funeral.
