Ms. Pamela Darlene Shirley's Obituary
Ms. Pamela Darlene Shirley, age 73 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday July 27, 2021. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 26, 1947 to the late Clarence and Bessie Lee Warrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Wayne Shirley. She is survived by her loving and doting children Rhonda Christiansen (Johnny), Donna Shirley, and Chris Shirley. She is also survived by her sister Martha Bush, grandchildren Matthew Shirley, Skyler Field, Tara Field, John Christiansen, and Reece Christiansen (Mary Grace), as well as great-grandchild Kaden Luke Shirley, nephews Joe Bush (Debbie) and David Bush (Bridget), niece Kathy Allen (Eddie), and cousins Becky Soderstrom (Kenny), Gary Hardison, and Steve Hardison.
Pamela was a loving, happy person with a great sense of humor. She loved her family, and they were her world. She was the greatest mother to her three children, and when they grew up they returned the love by spoiling her rotten. She loved the beach and the family enjoyed several vacations together. She loved to dance, especially square dancing, and enjoyed spending time with friends dancing or playing cards, especially Bunco. She was a wonderful cook, and made the best chocolate meringue pie in the world. Pamela’s faith was also extremely important to her and she was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
A Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 4pm-8pm, and again on Saturday July 31, 2021 from 10am-2pm. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2pm in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel, and burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
