i remember Pansy Baskerville as a devoted mother and dear neighbor when we moved to St. Albans in 1961. She was kind and thoughtful and always did what was best for everyone. Thankfully I was blessed to know such a wonderful person. Rest in peace dear neighbor.

Dawn, my sister, I pray for peace and comfort for you at this time. I see where you got your smile from. With the loss of your mother, you will go through a mix of emotions, up and downs, and they are all normal. I know that your mother is nothing but proud of you and you are left with enough wonderful memories to outweigh the sadness that you will also feel. Your mother was a beautiful person who has you to look down on and be proud of. When you think if her, as you often will, smile and know that she is in peace and having fun n heaven with your father and other family and friends. I love you and I am here for you to help you laugh and smile when you need me. When you look to the sky from which comes your strength, you’ll see her smile and that look that only a mother can give, looking at you with love and pride. We have fond memories of our all-to-brief interactions with Pansy (and Bob) when we helped them move from their home into a retirement community in 2012 (and then into a smaller apartment a few years later). Pansy was a kind, gentle woman who maintained a warm, dignified and graceful composure regardless of the level of stress she was under. She truly loved the Lord and it showed! We are sorry to see her leave our midst but look forward to a joyous reunion someday. --Mark and Mary McClure

After moving to Windlands, I became acquainted with Pansy and Bob and grew to live them like family. We would meet as often as we could for lunch in the dining room. While eating we talked, laughed and enjoyed each other’s company so much. Will miss her so much. God bless you Bob, and family.
