Mrs. Patricia Faye Engle's Obituary
Patricia Faye Engle, age 53 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away September 12, 2013. Patricia was born in Wayne, MI on September 14, 1959 to the late Robert Leroy and Helen Mae Knutson Dearth.
She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1977 and married Bill Engle on November 3, 1979. Over the years they resided in MI, IN and OH prior to settling in Goodlettsville, TN. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean as well as Alaska and most of the U.S. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling and golf. She loved her IPAD, whether reading or playing games. She will long be remembered for a smile that could light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Verna Jean Jones. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bill Engle; brother, Ronald Dearth and his wife, Dianna; sisters, Nancy Henry and Debra DeMoisey and her husband, Robert; and many other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family requests no flowers and that memorial contributions be made in Patricia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org/donate or by calling 800-805-5856. Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
