Patricia Hawke's Obituary
Patricia Ann Watts Hawke, 68, of Belmont, Michigan, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. Born July 12, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Miller Watts and Elsie Louise Lane Watts.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed dearly. Her family meant everything to her.
Trish believed passionately in the Lord and our responsibility to help others. She gave willingly to anyone in need and supported several children’s and animal charities. She had a great sense of fun and despite health issues continued to be positive and supportive to those around her.
A native of Tennessee, she also lived in England with Richard before settling in Michigan where she again impacted the lives of many. Her courage, compassion, Faith, empathy, charm and grace have built a legacy, she was and still is loved by many people in 2 countries – thousands of miles apart. A wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who changed lives and made a difference. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband Richard Hawke; three children Christy Garton, Jennifer West and James (Tonya) Garton; brother Bill Watts; sisters Janice (Tom) Wiseman and Paula (Bill) McCormick; grandchildren Kate Garton, Amy West, Alex Garton, Jacob West, Nathan Garton, Isaac West, and Landon Garton; a special friend who was just like a brother, Frank Fulgham.
The family will receive relatives on Tuesday, November 16 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee, 37216. The Celebration of Life funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17 at 2:00 pm with an hour of visiting prior to the service also at the funeral home. The committal service will immediately follow at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill McCormick, Zachary Stanley, Isaac West, Jacob West, Nathan Garton, and Alex Garton.
