Mrs. Patricia Warner's Obituary
Patricia Anne DuMont Warner, age 86, passed away on January 26, 2015. Mrs. Warner was born on March 17, 1928 to the late Wilfred M. and Winifred G. DuMont.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warner was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John Brady Warner, Sr.; her sister, Mary Delia DuMont; and her cousin, Mary E. Gilligan.
She is survived by her children, Sharyn Curbo, Brady (Jan) Warner, Dedie (Tom) Rice, Anthony (Suzie) Warner, Patty (Greg) Self, Billy (Julie) Warner; brother, Mike (Sue) DuMont; 20 grandchildren, Mickey (Kelli) Curbo, Eric (Laura) Curbo, Jeff Curbo, Carol (Steve) McClure, John Warner, Mary (Brad) Cockerham, Jimmy Collier, Leona (Nik) Mathisen, Bobby Warner, Katie Warner, Patrick Warner, Jennifer (Peter) Lagadas, Jeremy (Amber) Self, Rebecca (Shane) Batchelor, Rachel Self, Matthew Self, Drew Self, Brandon Warner, Courtney Warner, Chelsea Warner; 18 great-grandchildren, Gabriel Curbo, Kellan Curbo, Cole Curbo, Ethan McClure, Connor McClure, Avery McClure, Eli Cockerham, Tate Cockerham, Isaiah Brady Mathisen, Sophia Lagadas, Bryson Self, Summer Self, Olivia Batchelor, Liam Batchelor, Trevor Childers, Jamari Grays, Jayden Grays, and Sasha Grays.
Mrs. Warner was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She was a founding member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she served as president of the Women’s Club, president of the Parish Council, and volunteered her time and services. Her passions were love of God, family, and church. She loved to read, knit, crochet, and spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mass of the Resurrection will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Tomy Joseph and Father Joe McMahon officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery where grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Rosary at 7:00pm. Additional visitation will occur one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or School or to Safe Haven Family Shelter.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Sterling House of Goodlettsville and Avalon Hospice for taking such good care of Mrs. Warner.
