Patrick "Buster" Day's Obituary
Patrick “Buster” Joseph Day, 69 of Nashville passed away on Monday,
June 30th in Mt Juliet,TN.
Born on March 18, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to James and Margaret
Day, Buster was one of ten children. In his younger years, he took part in
woodworking that eventually led to a life long career in construction.
In addition to his creative hand, he enjoyed embracing the outdoors,
hunting and fishing, and supporting the DARKSIDE Car Club. He deeply
loved his daughter, Amanda and late wife, Sharon and son BJ. He
continuously expressed his love and appreciation for them all.
In addition to his wife of 30+ years, Sharon Hunt Day, he is preceded in
death by his parents James Day and Margaret Schaffer Day; one son,
Patrick “BJ” Joseph Day Jr.; four sisters, Mary Lou Eatherly (Billy d.),
Rosa L. Day, Patricia Kestner (Bobby d.), Marlena Spann (Craig).
Those left to cherish his loving memory is his beloved daughter, Amanda
Day (AJ Jernigan d.); siblings, James Day (Shirley), Betty Smith (Dean d.),
Darlena Hoffman (Jeff), Lois Tresner (Randy), and Lee Day (Faye d.); many
nieces and nephews, and several close friends and extended family
members.
