I didn't know Pat early in his life, but I have valuable recent memories of picking him up at home frequently to make the trip to his favorite meal at Red Lobster. He had his regular sandwich , and our waitress always knew what he would order and greeted him warmly, cheerfully bring his food and telling him how happy she would be to see us on the next visit. He never forgot the take out bag of cheesey biscuits for Elizabeth. We made the rounds to pick up repair parts for things at home, and always had to check to see where Teddy was hiding. He even checked the new doorbell we installed........every time he came home. Its ring was his theme music. How memorable are the simple things in life when you are around an extraordinary person like PAT. I will visit our restaurant soon, and alone, to enjoy his favorite sandwich, in his honor. May GOD Bless and protect you my friend, through all eternity. Jim Grant
