Ms. Patsy Morene Brown's Obituary
Patsy Morene Brown, age 73 of Nashville, passed away on February 23, 2015. She was born in Davidson County, Tennessee on June 3, 1941 to the late Irvin and Ollie McCarter. Ms. Brown was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Ms. Brown loved her home and her family and loved doting on her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family and did so quite often. She was happiest when she was outside working in her flowers or standing on the bank of the lake fishing. She was a great decorator and flower arranger and constantly fiddled with things until they were just right.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her son, Larry Brown; grandson, Seth Brown; and brother, Roy McCarter.
Ms. Brown is survived by her loving companion of over twenty years, Walt Davis; daughter, Teresa Julian (Terry); sons, Bubba Brown and Tim Brown (Elaine); brothers, Jack McCarter and Tommy McCarter; sisters, Peggy Harris, and Linda Ross (Marvin); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and visitors on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. Pastor Gary Ferrell will preside over a Celebration of Life Service to honor Ms. Brown on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 12:00pm, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Thomas B. Craighead garden of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
