Ms. Patsy Maurine Nichols' Obituary
Ms. Patsy Maurine Nichols, age 78 of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. She was born on February 22, 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Bernard and Leone Nichols. She is survived by her brother Highland Nichols (Gerri) of Clinton, Iowa, nephews Robert Nichols, Corey Nichols, David Nichols, and Kevin Nichols, and niece Tracy Nichols. She is also survived by her soul sisters Donna Meurer and Janell Howard. She also had many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was a devoted member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greenbrier, and she was also a member of the Greenbrier Order of the Eastern Star No. 469. While living in Clinton, Iowa, she was a very active community and political volunteer.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Patsy on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church (6028 Ebenezer Road, Greenbrier, Tennessee 37073) at 2pm, with the family receiving visitors one hour prior to the service. A graveside inurnment will be held at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville on the following day, Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Patsy’s memory be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church Building Fund.
