Mrs. Patty Owens' Obituary
Patty Owens, age 73, passed away Saturday, Jul 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Patty was born on February 18, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Claude and Maybell Chance.
Patty was a Nashville girl born and raised, she lived in the Nashville area for her entire life. She was the youngest of four girls in her family. Patty graduated from Madison High school in 1964. She went on to work at the Cain Sloan Department Store where she started as a Christmas temporary employee. She eventually became a full-time employee and, in the process, met her future husband Charles. Patty and Charles met in 1965 in the cafeteria at the Cain Sloan Department Store and it was love at first sight. They got married the following year on September 14, 1966 and were married for 52 beautiful years. Patty loved spending time with her family and especially adored her grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her husband of 52 years Charles Owens, two daughters Angela Holder (Joe) and Jennifer Morgan (Perry). She is also survived by her sisters Laketa York, Brenda DeSantis and Shirley Steirs. Patty is also survived by three grandchildren Alexis Morgan Looney, Davis Morgan and Daniel Holder.
Visitation will be on Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 2 PM to 6 PM and Wednesday from 1 PM to 2 PM. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday at 2 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
