Mr. Paul Joseph Dickman's Obituary
Paul Joseph Dickman, age 72 of Madison passed away June 28, 2013. Paul was born on January 9, 1941 in Nashville to the late Raymond L. and Margaret Dickman. He is survived by his brothers, Ray (Joyce), Ron, Jim (Dee) and Nephew Philip James. Paul graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1959; received his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech in 1963 and the joined the Army Reserves Ambulance Training Unit. He was employed at Frost Arnett from 1963 until his death, where he served as Senior Vice President for many years. He loved all sports, supported the Vanderbilt Commodores, and was more than an avid golfer and a member of Ravenwood Country Club. Paul was a longtime member and usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus #3763. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 2nd at 10:00 A.M. from St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ed Steiner, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Charles C. Martin, Jr., Bobby Long, Charlie Carver, Collins Smith, George Buck and J. Wesley Duke. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, July 1st from 3-8 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a prayer service held at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1225 Gallatin Pk. S., Madison, TN 37115.
