I just now found out about Paul's passing. We came to Nashville together back in 1993. Great songwriter and entertainer. We even wrote one together. Sad to hear he's not with us.

I remember Paul best by his big smile and the way he laughed! Had to laugh and smile along with him. Nothing seemed to really bother him. He will be truly missed by so many.
We were all blessed to have Paul in our life. He always brought laugher and music everywhere he went. My fondest memory of him was playing guitar and singing Johnny Cash ringing in the New Year when he was home last. Thinking of the family at this difficult time and sending thoughts and prayers your way.
R.I.P. Cuz
My fondest memory of Paul was when we would go to their house in Titusville as kids, I was probably 11 or 12, Paul was a couple of years older. We would go out into the shed behind their trailer and he would get all the unburned tobacco out of his daddy’s cigarette butts and roll himself up some cigarettes. Then while making sure the coast was clear, he would light them up with a blow torch and smoke them. I thought he was so cool. Rest in peace cousin.

RIP cousin - it has been a pleasure knowing you in this life. Your songs and laughter will remain with us. I just listened to the "Garden" song you wrote me with Beverly. It means a lot. See in you in heaven one day. God Bless
I miss my little brother so much. It was so weird on Sunday going over his house and he was not there. I was waiting for him to come out of the bathroom but he never did. We had a bond that many others didnt have, through our music and from growing up together. He was so special, He loved anybody he came in contact with. I just dont understand this. He went so fast. I know a big piece of my heart died when he died, my life will never be the same without him.
I'm one of Paul's daughters... this is not exactly my memory... but it was told to me that one time my father got into a bar fight and the cops that responded were kinda freakin out tryna make him go to the hospital cuz they swore his nose was badly broken and i guess he had to tell them that no that's what his nose always looked like!! lol snort..idk that always made me laugh...
Peace Paul. I have fond memories of spending summers together with all the cousins gathered. We had great fun and followed the lead of Paul and Steve as we played skits and explored our grandparents farm. We never ran out of things to do and Paul's creativity never disappointed. He loved to make us laugh, and I will never his very own unique laugh. Paul always had a smile on his face and made friends with everyone. I have no memories of Paul treating others badly. Paul was always happiest when those around him were happy. The more you knew Paul, the more you would know this to be true. That is a good life.
Rest in peace my dear friend and neighbor. I will miss you Paul. My mind is full of memories- sitting out back drinking and telling stories. My heart is filled with your words of song. My thoughts are with Renee, now without her long time love. My prayers are with Paul's family. He was truly a good man. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest.
