Paul McCabe Banks Jr.'s Obituary
BANKS, JR., Paul McCabe, Age 82 of Old Hickory, TN passed away Sunday November 15, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family, and trusted dachshund Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Banks Sr. and Irene Lansdown Banks, as well as a brother, William Banks. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Banks, daughter, Paula Salisbury Banks, son, James M. Ogg, and Kenneth W. Ogg; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Banks was retired from Genesco after 45 years of dedicated service, and was a member of American Legion Post 82. Paul served his country in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. Funeral Ceremonies will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 2PM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from Noon until 8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until service time. Pallbearers for Mr. Banks will be; Jeremy Ogg, Kenneth Ogg, Michael West, Kenneth R. Ogg, Rodney Salisbury, and Suncerae Salisbury.
