Mr. Paul Wayne Morphis Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Paul Wayne Morphis, Sr.,65, a resident of Nashville, died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center.
The Nashville native was the son of the late Charles Lee and Hazel Richardson Morphis. He was a mechanic for many years for Avco Aviation. He attended Seminary School and Bible College and was a long-time member of the East Nashville General Baptist Church. He was a Tennessee Titan fan, enjoyed singing and Loved God with all his heart, soul, and mind.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Coleman Morphis; three daughters, Crystal (Darrell) Skinner, Taffany (James) Kelley, and Latonya Medley; two sons, Paul W. “Bubba” (Paula) Morphis and Sam Burttie; two sisters, Ruby Edens and Martha Edens; two brothers, Billy and Jimmy Morphis; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lee Medley.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Pegram. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
