Paul David Rice's Obituary
Paul David Rice, age 82, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed peacefully in the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born on July 22, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to Paul Edward and Adeline Ellsbeth Rice. David spent his childhood and school age years in Whittier, California. He served in the Navy Reserves on active duty for two years and continued on to earn a bachelors degree in business at Southern Nazarene University.
He was a salesman for 55 years and became the co-owner of Forklifts Plus.
David was a follower of Jesus Christ and freely shared God's love with others. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and was loved and admired by many. He was a sweet compassionate person, honest with strong moral principles. He was a man who truly loved people and was willing to help whenever needed.
Deeply rooted in his faith, David found joy in his ministry at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, whether it was driving the bus, helping in Bible school, delivering packages to shut-ins or serving as an usher. His unwavering devotion and love for Jesus inspired many to live courageously in their faith.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward Rice and Adeline Ellsbeth Rice. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Linda Whited Rice, daughter, Tambri Rice Radawi (Joseph) and grandchildren, Ashton, Cole, and Brayden Radawi, and his sister, Marilyn Harrison of San Diego, California.
David's Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street, Nashville, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends at 12:00 PM. The service will be at 1:00 PM. The burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee, following the service.

Final arrangements for Mr. Rice are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
