Mr. Paul Dwight Woodard's Obituary
Paul Dwight Woodard, age 75, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Eloise Woodard. He is survived by two sons, Charles E. Woodard (Angela), Paul Duane Woodard (Amy); one sister, Brenda Carr (Buddy); one brother, Butch Woodard (Sandra); three grandchildren, Seth Woodard, Paul Dylan Woodard and Lola Woodard. Paul served his country as a E5 in the United States Army and also as a Police Captain with the Sumner County Sheriff Department. He was a follower of Christ and his faith was very important to him. Paul was a family man and easy going person, he would help anyone in need, having never met a stranger. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing just to name a few. Paul will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Graveside services for Paul will be conducted from the grounds of Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 in the Crestview Section, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Noon. Friends and family are requested to meet at the graveside prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in Paul’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
