Paulette T. McGlasson's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Paulette Tuck McGlasson on Sunday, February 19th, 2023 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Paulette was born on March 1st, 1947 in Old Hickory, Tennessee to Louie Tuck and Hattie Ray Adams Tuck. She met the love of her life, John McGlasson, Sr., and they wed on December 7th, 1972. Her children, Christie and John Jr., were the sunshine of her life. For many years, she served as a bookkeeper for Davidson County Juvenile Court.
She will be remembered as the outspoken, sassy, and funny fashionista who could always be seen wearing leopard print and a fabulous pair of shoes. You could always find her shopping online or avidly reading, especially her Bible. Her steadfast faith carried her throughout the years, and she knew she would someday be embraced by her Lord and Savior when her time came. She was a bold and fearless woman of faith who loved her family above all, and her presence will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Paulette is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years John McGlasson Sr., sister Brenda Brown, and son-in-law Felix (Alex) Wheeley. She is survived by her children Christie Renee Wheeley and John McGlasson Jr. and his wife, Janelle McGlasson; stepdaughters Terry Sampson and Tanya McGlasson; sisters Debbie Sartain and Vickie Hardy; brother Randall Adams; grandchildren Bryanna Manning, Gianni McGlasson, Aubrey McGlasson, and Caiden McGlasson; great-grandson Royce Manning; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
