Pauline Davis Claytor's Obituary
Pauline Davis “Honey" Claytor, age 94 of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Mrs. Claytor was born in Portland, TN on October 21, 1918 to Jeremiah Thomas and Annie Irene Harper Davis. She was a member of Green Ridge Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Claude H. Claytor, Sr. and grandson, Mark A. Gaines. She is survived by her daughter, Claudine Claytor Watkins; sons, Claude (Becky) and John Leo (Linda) Claytor; grandchildren, David Gaines, Jr. Sherrie Stewart, Karen Lamzik, Lori Ashton, Gary Gaines, Jeffrey Watkins, Rachel Garrett, Amy Claytor, Hollie Vaden, Josh Claytor, Daniel Claytor, J.T. Claytor and Timothy Claytor; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Honey’s life will be conducted at 12:30 P.M., Friday, December 7, 2012 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Daniel Claytor officiating. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with the grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. and from 3 P.M. until 6 P.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 and from 11 A.M. until 12 P.M. on Friday, prior to the service at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
