Ms. Peggy Ann McDowell's Obituary
Ms. Peggy Ann Adams McDowell,83, a resident of Madison, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Skyline Medical Center.
She was a Nashville native, daughter of the late Joe Adams and Margaret McReynolds Adams Harmon. She was formerly married to the late Robert McDowell, the father of her children. She was an insurance agent for Hall & Bennedict Insurance Agency in Nashville and was of the Episcopal faith. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed football, basketball, making people laugh and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Gary) Hutton of Mt. Juliet, TN, Margaret Tippitt of Goodlettsville, TN, and Karen McDowell of White House, TN; six grandchildren, Chad Smith, Tyler (Danna) Hutton, Ashley (Kyle) Farmer, Jason (Sarah) Tippitt, Jesse (Jessica) Tippitt, and Caleb McDowell; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Adams.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:30AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Nimmo officiating. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10:00AM until service time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
