Peggy Ann Armstrong, 88, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Born April 15, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ivan Lanier and Elizabeth Hudspeth Hoover.
Peggy always put others before herself. She was a very outgoing lady who never met a stranger. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good crossword puzzle. She loved animals and country music, especial Vince Gill. She was a member of Dickerson Road Baptist Church. Peggy was the best mom ever.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Earnest Armstrong and stepfather Youree Hoover.
She is survived by her children William Bruce (Deborah) Armstrong and Brenda (Jeff) Houdyshelt.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 10 AM until 12 PM noon. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM noon. Burial will follow at Nashville National Cemetery.
