Mrs. Peggy R. Birdwell's Obituary
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 1pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville for Peggy R. Birdwell who passed away October 28, 2016. Born September 27, 1933 in Liberty, TN.
Mrs. Birdwell worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service for 30 years and for Beck and Beck Law Firm for over 26 years. She was also a long time member of Eastland Baptist Church and Grace Baptist Church in Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Landon Birdwell; her parents Alpha Chapman Roy and Gladys (Turney) Roy; her son Randy Lee Birdwell and by her brother Ted Roy and her sister-in-law Fay Roy. Mrs. Birdwell is survived by her daughter Trudie Verble and her husband Jeff; her sister Linda Dupre and her husband David; her grandchildren Brittany Verble and Christopher Verble.
Arrangements are under the direction of Spring Hill Funeral Home where family and friends may visit Monday, October 31, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm and Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 10am.
Concluding services and interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
