Mrs. Peggy Hewgley's Obituary
Peggy Smith Hewgley; age 81 of Hendersonville, TN passed away April 17, 2016 after battling ovarian cancer for 5 years. She is proceeded in death by; parents Earl and Margaret Smith.
She is survived by; husband Larry Hewgley of 58 years, sons; Keith (Debbie) Hewgley and Steve Hewgley, brother; Jim (Donna) Smith, Sister; Jackie (Al) North, grandchildren; Jessica, Madison, and Ashley, great-grandchildren; Gabe and Jacks.
Peggy was born in Old Hickory, TN and graduated from Isaac Litton High in 1953. She attended and completed schooling at Martin Methodist and Peabody College. Peggy taught school at East Jr High and Jackson Central Merry High for 22 years in Jackson, TN.
She and her husband moved back to Nashville in 1992. They made numerous trips around the country and abroad.
A celebration of life service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, TN. Celebration will take place on Friday April 22, 2016 at 11:30am. Visitation with the family will be Friday April 22, 2016 from 9:30-11:30am.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, TN or Martin Methodist College.
