Ms. Peggy Pardue's Obituary
Peggy Joyce Pardue, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Peggy was born on June 16, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to Andrew Franklin Stroud and Janie Mae (Johnson) Stroud.
Peggy was known as the shuffle board queen, she enjoyed practicing her love for singing by going to karaoke at the VFW, she enjoyed going to the casino and was always on the go. It’s often been said that Peggy wasn’t your typical 77 year old. Peggy also enjoyed traveling and cherished the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles Ray Pardue; son, Ray Pardue; three brothers and two sisters.
Ms. Pardue is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Pardue, Lisa Ray (Teddy Frazier), and Anita Pardue; two sisters, Rachel Law (Larry), Mazelle Welch; two grandchildren, Amber Pardue, along with her father, Rick Dunnagan and Justin Ray; six great grandchildren; fiancée, Vern Freeman. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home with an additional visitation on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2 PM. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
