Mrs. Peggy 'Pepe' Price Williams' Obituary
Peggy Price “Pepe” Williams, 88, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. Pepe was born October 27, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late William Orville Price and Clara Isham Price.
Pepe treasured family above everything else and took great pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, a great grandmother and most recently, a great-great grandmother. Aside from her family, Pepe loved and was loved by her many close friends. Having never met a stranger, Pepe had a gift of talking with someone until they found common ground, making everyone she met feel like an old friend. Whether it was with family or friends, Pepe loved to travel and if there was fun to be had, she was sure to be close by. Pepe is known for a great many things, but laughing often and loving well is the legacy she leaves us with.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy Williams, and her second husband of 5 years, Ray Fort; two sisters Margaret Luongo, and Marion Turner; her brother Samuel Reno.
She is survived by her daughter Carole (Clay) Harrell; sons Larry (Helen) Williams, Tommy (Tammy) Williams, and George “Bubba” (Martha) Williams; grandchildren Scott Williams, Julie Merrill, Samantha Head, Chris Williams, Natalie Williams, Michael Harrell, Tosha Mabry, and Lindsay James; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 22 at the funeral home with her grandson, Pastor Michael Harrell, officiating. Family will receive friends and visitors two hours prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
