Mr. Percy Micheal "Mike" Corbett, age 84 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 25, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 31, 1940 in Houston County, Tennessee to the late Percy Leslie and Eula Vergie Pulley Corbett. Mike graduated from Howard High School and married Gail and started their family. Mike was a dedicated employee of AVCO for many years and was a member of First Apostolic Church of Nashville. He was authentic and real. He didn't try to impress others, but was there to help in whatever way he could. He was able to fix just about anything and was able to instill that quality in his family.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife and companion, Gail Corbett; daughter Connie Corbett Aldridge; sisters Linda Webb and Carolyn Batson, and brother Jimmy Corbett. He is survived by his loving daughters, Jeanette (Terry) Fox and Karla (D.J.) Shoulders; grandchildren Chloe Fox, Andy Fox, Hayden Fox (Hailee), Peyton Shoulders (Macy), and Preston Shoulders (Christian); great-grandchildren Linlee, Harrison, Greyson, Henley, Wesley, and another great-grandson will be born this year, his brother Kenneth Corbett (Barbara) and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor D.J. Shoulders officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Andy Fox, Hayden Fox, Preston Shoulders, Peyton Shoulders, Greyson Cole, and Chloe Fox.
